The NSW government is helping to offset the costs of installing
compressed air metering which can be expensive, as well as offset the
cost of compressed air or steam trap surveys

The NSW Government will fund a check-up on your compressed air and steam systems, which are often inefficient and could be costing you a lot to run.

NG can survey your compressed air or steam system and identify cost saving opportunities.

Qualifying costs

We will fund approved suppliers up to $11,000 to do the job for you.

This offer runs until 3 July 2020 or until funding is exhausted.

 

Eligibility

To be eligible you must:

  • have an ABN and be registered for GST
  • do on site manufacturing or cotton ginning in NSW. If you’re unsure, contact us at manufacturing@energysaver.nsw.gov.au
  • have a compressed air system with operational capacity of 30kW or greater
  • have a steam system with operational capacity of 500kW or greater.

Qualifying costs

We fund the cost of buying, installing and commissioning new metering on your compressed air system.

We will pay 30% of the final bill, up to a maximum of $5000 per site.

For example, Eddy is quoted $12,000 to install new metering. He applies for the NSW government offer and gets $3600 – 30% of his total project costs.

 

Eligibility

To be eligible you must:

  • have an Australian Business Number (ABN) and be registered for GST
  • have an on-site operational compressed air system capacity of 100 kW or greater
  • undertake manufacturing activities or cotton ginning in NSW. If you think what you do is manufacturing but doesn’t fit this definition, please contact us at manufacturing@energysaver.nsw.gov.au

You can apply anytime until the closing date on 3 July 2020 or until the fund is exhausted.
