What is the Energy Performance Services Grant?
The Energy Performance Services Grant provides funding for businesses to develop and implement energy monitoring and analysis solutions that drive measurable performance improvements. This includes expert consultancy, analytics software, data integration, capability building, and systems that convert submetering data into meaningful operational insights.
The program focuses on using real-time and historical data to identify inefficiencies, validate savings, and support structured decarbonisation plans.
Funding Amount
- Up to $50,000, covering up to 50% of eligible project costs
- Delivered via two milestones:
- Milestone 1: Up to $5,000 for specialist consulting to create an Energy Monitoring and Analysis Plan
- Milestone 2: Up to $45,000 to implement the approved plan
Who is this for?
This grant is targeted at NSW industrial, commercial, and manufacturing businesses that already have submetering installed and are seeking to upgrade their data analytics, monitoring systems, and energy performance management capabilities.
Eligibility
You can apply if you:
- Are a NSW business spending $200,000+ per year on energy, or using 3,600 GJ annually
- Already have submetering systems installed at the system or subsystem level
- Have operational control of the site and authority to undertake energy monitoring and performance activities
