Accelerate your decarbonisation project with funding through the Singapore Pilots for Energy & Enterprise Decarbonisation (SPEED) Program
The Singapore Pilots for Energy & Enterprise Decarbonisation (SPEED) Program is a new funding initiative designed to help organisations accelerate innovative decarbonisation technologies from pilot stage through to commercial deployment. As part of Singapore’s S$800 million Decarbonisation Grand Challenge, the SPEED program funding allocation is S$250 million and supports translational research, development and demonstration (RD&D) projects that can help reduce emissions across the power and industrial sectors. Eligible projects may receive funding covering up to 50% of total project costs, alongside government support to help navigate regulatory approvals, industry connections and commercialisation opportunities.

- Are developing innovative decarbonisation technologies at Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) 6–8
- Have a project that supports Singapore’s decarbonisation objectives
- Are undertaking genuine research, development and demonstration activities that create new intellectual property or technical knowledge
- Can demonstrate long-term capability development within Singapore
- If based overseas, are prepared to establish a presence in Singapore and collaborate with local organisations, research institutes or public agencies

Important Notes
The program does not support standard technology deployments or “plug-and-play” implementations without meaningful innovation. Projects outside the power and industrial decarbonisation sectors may also fall outside the program scope. Applications should demonstrate clear innovation, significant emissions reduction potential and long-term benefits for Singapore’s decarbonisation ecosystem.
